Universal Promotions, Inc
Universal Promotions dishonest sales practices, misleading information, no refunds

Traveling & Tourism

Basically, this company calls you up claiming you "won" a vacation to Florida. They then outline that their vacation includes:

- 3/2 in Magical Orlando
- 2 2-day Starr Passes for Universal Studious
or Islands of Adventure
- 3/2 in Sunny Cocoa Beach
- 4 Sterling Casino Dinner Cruise
- $500.00 Savings Booklet
- 5/4 in Exotic Cancun or 7/6 in Relaxing Puerto Vallarta

They get you all excited about the vacation and then they tell you that it will only cost $500.00 to purchase the vacation you allegedly "won." They then proceed to charge your credit card while you are on the phone with them and they do not allow refunds. Technically this is not a scam because they do follow through with what they claim, though they hype their vacation and it only comes through in the most technical sense (e.G., the Sterling Casino Dinner Cruise is free for anyone who wants to take it; claiming they will give you tickets is dishonest).

I would highly recommend that anyone contacted by this company stay away from them and their dishonest sales practices.
