Ripoff, false advertisement

I moved into the park in early May. A billboard along the highway stated that it cost 8$ a night / 149$ a month. But, 149$ a month turned out to be only from May to September. From August to April it was 275$ a month. I lived there for a year. When May came back around I was expecting my rent to go down. But it didnt. It stayed the same. I didnt have the money right away, so I was late making the payment. They taped a notice on my door that Stated I had 24 hours to come up with my payment or vacate the premises. I thought, maybe I was wrong about the rent going down in May, and borrowed the money.

But June came around and it still hadnt gone down. I asked around and found out, that without any notification, they raised the summer rate to 275$ a month and the winter rate to 325$. The billboard stiil states 149$ a month. Now, some of my neighbors have went up to talk to them and they agreed to keep thier rent at 275$ year round. But when I inquired about it, the park management said they'd check my record first. That next month, I received a notice on my bill stating my rent was going up. I guess, because I was late on my May payment.in the whole year before, I was only late one other time. And it was due to the hurricanes and not being able to work for days. I'm not a lawyer and can't say whats legal and whats not. But, I do know the difference between right and wrong, and how they do business is very wrong. Be warned... Ladies bathroom and shower was closed for 3 months so they could replace the tiles in the shower, pool heater was down for a month then the filter was down for almost 3 months, all park parties cost money or are BYO, 75$ if they have to mow your, very small, yard (which they only do once a month).
