Caused overdrafts in my bank account and will not reimburse. Ripoff

I booked a room on May 2nd for the Baseball Hall of Fame weekend July 29th-31st. The employee who took the reservation told me it was her first time (should have stopped right there). She asked me if I wanted my confirmation sent to me; I said yes.

May 31st, haven't heard from Sabatini's. Went through my bank statement and discovered they Sabatini's not only deducted the amount for the room, but it caused 4 overdraft fees! At $31 each. I called June 1st and spoke with Jenny, who asked me to fax my bank statement. I did this 2x. She said she never got them. I faxed again. Did not hear from her. Friday, the 3rd, I called again and left a message.

Monday, the 6th, I called and was told Jenny was no longer with the company. Spoke with Doreen, who was very nice, and e-mailed my statement. Did not hear from anyone. CAlled the 8th and Doreen had never received the e-mail. Sent it again. Did not hear from anyone. Called on Friday and was told Kat would be taking care of the problem. Waited. Wednesday, called and spoke with Kat. Was put on terminal hold when Marty came on the phone. He told me that they would reimburse me the inital room charge but there was nothing he could help me with regarding having a room or the overdraft charges.

Explained to Marty that this was HIS EMPLOYEE's fault, not mine. Marty proceeded to tell me he's encountered people who forgot their reservations before and oops, now they want their money back. Forgot 2 months in ADVANCE? So this was MY fault when SHE even ADMITTED did NOT know how to do reservations? Explained to Marty that I even spoke with the girl about the Hall of Fame weekend and why we were coming. Nope, still 'could' be my fault, but he was willing to be nice and give me the room charge back.

Told Marty that was unacceptable. The overdrafts caused by HIS EMPLOYEE caused me to be late on some of my other bills, for which I now have to pay a late fee. And where was I going to stay? He said they had a room for that date at $165 per night. Did I want it? I told him no, I could not afford $165 a night because HIS EMPLOYEE SCREWED UP MY BANK ACCOUNT!

After going around with this, Marty said, "Ok, I'm willing to say that 100% of the mistake was ours. Our employee made the mistake." But I'm still not getting my money back. And I have no place to stay the last week-end in July for the Hall of Fame, which was a birthday gift to my husband who loves Ryan Sandberg. But thanx for being so magnanimous, Marty, and admitting that YOUR EMPLOYEE screwed up royally.
