Ripoff, hard to deal with and don't know the steps to get my money back because I am from Canada I was being blamed for that

I had recieved a notice in the mail saying that I had been "idenitified and confirmed to take part in a prestigious nationwide marketing study and promotion"... I thought "awsome" I had heard of people getting these trips and they had worked out very well for them so I thought atleast I should call and see what it was all about.

My call was answered and I was given and ID#. Everything was so official and for the low low price of $698 my spouse and I would be on a trip with the FABULOUS Ramada and Carnival. The woman who's name was Krista told me that it was a fabulous offer and I questioned her and questioned her. She never stumbled and then when I told her I couldn't decide because my partner was not here he was away working she transfered me to her supervisor and he talked to me. Then he performed a three way call to my partner who was then told the same things as me and we decided to take the "really great deal", stupid us.

We were told numerous times the vacation could be cancelled anythime for any reason, no questions asked no penalties. He said because it was on the credit card we were protected in every way of fradulent acts and that we had no worries. So, trusting this we went for it.
I have contacted the VIP Customer Care and no answers have been told to me. I was told that because I was from Canada that Canadian legislation has stated that I had ten days to cancel. My argument to her was that we were not told that and because the seller knew I was from Canada I should have been told that. She told me the only way now was to sell the wonderful vacation on E-Bay. I was like no, I want the money back now and she flatly refused. I asked for a superior's number and she couldn't provide me with one. That made me feel sick because then I knew for a fact I got took. Then I found this web site in my attempt to find away to get my money back.

Not only was this a rip off but it was not only $698 for me but almost $800 because of exchange. If anyone has any information of numbers and the rights I have as a Canadian can you please let me know... I am desperate to get MY money back
