Hotel Voucher Mistaken for Application, Points Not Awarded

I attended a sales seminar for Hilton Grand Vacations Summit Resort in Sedona, Arizona on November 12, 2025. My stay also included a 3-night stay at a Hilton resort in the Sedona area, which I had pre-paid 11 months earlier.

Post-seminar, I was given what I thought was an application for a $100.00 voucher for a future stay at a Hilton Garden Inn of my choice. I sent what I thought was the application, along with my receipt from the summit, to HGV to obtain my voucher. I returned home on January 13, 2026, after being away for 24 days, and found a card from HGV in my mailbox. The card stated the request could not be honored ("Your hotel stay must be after your personal preview and within 6 months of issuance date"). I realized then that what I thought was an application was actually the voucher itself, which I was supposed to present at check-in at a Hilton Honors hotel. The representative on my third customer service call to HGV/Hilton Honors said this was my avenue to reimbursement.

I stayed 2 nights at a Hilton Garden Inn in Rancho Mirage, California from January 3-5, 2026, and would like to be reimbursed the $100.00. I was also told I would receive 15,000 bonus points for attending the seminar stay in Sedona, AZ - I have not yet seen these points awarded to my account.
