AARP/Expedia arranged a four-day stay for us with Days inn at 11202 ih 35 N San Antonio TX on Aug 2. We paid in advance. It was a terrible place.
They assumed because my wife was in a wheelchair, she was incompetent. When she tried to communicate with staff, they talked to me, asking whether she was capable.
Also, one person would say the pool was open, the next would say it was closed, the next said it was open, and on and on%u2026
Then, at 4 in the morning, they informed us that they didn%u2019t allow dogs. They knew we had a dog. Expedia told them and we never tried to hide it. Still, they kicked us out early next day, and didn%u2019t refund our money for the horrible night, just the three nights we didn%u2019t stay.
Expedia gave us our money back for the yucky night. Expedia rules.
We will avoid Days Inn from now on.
