Free gift was voided

I sent the document to simply great gifts on time but didn't send a copy of my photo id & now they said my free tablet is voided because of this. I asked why didn't they call me & the very rude lady said it's not our responsibly to call. They refuse to let me send a copy now & said I forfeit my gift.
