Confirmed motel La Quinta but no reservation when we arrived

I reserved a night at La Quinta Inn and Suites Ft. Lauderdale for December 15 and that I obtained a verification quantity but upon our appearance following a lengthy evening of journey, the hotel had no reservation for all of US and we'd to pay for the entire cost to get a space because it was so overdue also it was not feasible to-go search for another resort.

I paid $108.65 on my CREDIT card, producing the reservation. The reservation was created through www.reservetravel.com

Please email what direction to go to obtain returned for my evening's stay there.
