Excessive charges

We chose to not need a house telephone anymore. Last statement I recvd stated $96.00. Since it's disconnected they've bay area credit calling me for nearly $300.00. Which was the price to improve the telephone. I really donot want to buy. I settled the $96.00 I-say is owed. Ref #87323267. I'm arguing the total amount they claim is left.
