After more than 3 years of using rogers I shifted to bell hoping to save some money as what this salesman from bell told me after we did some mathematical computation so I signed up through the phone. After installing the internet, phone and cable I asked the installer why there is only one television working for the cable and I found out that I have to subscribe separate cable box on each TV that cost $10 each which I ended up paying more compared to Rogers. I called bell right away to terminate my contract but they told me that I have to observe 1month notice the same thing with rogers this time because Rogers service is still active in my home, to cut the story short i paid Rogers and bell during transition and termination periods. Now we used bell long distance service when calling the Philippines hoping that if rogers are charging CAN$. 19 per minute of long distance call to Philippines we thought bell might charge higher but not to the extent of CAN$2.40 per minute. For a month that we used bell we incurred CAN$1,700, I keep calling their costumer service many times to negotiate the rates imposed but all I got is a promise to get back on me. I even tried calling the consumers board asking them if they could help me on this but they referred me to telecommunication board where I was told that they could only work on frauds and they referred me to Competitions Bureau which also don't have jurisdiction on pricing. With my frustration I was able to locate the executive desk through the internet so I called them and I was able to speak with Mike who gave me CAN$200 off, I unhappily agreed to the offer since I have no choice. I paid everything once through my credit card just to finish this nightmare i've been through. I already settled those financial obligations to bell but deep within me I felt ripped off and still looking for ways to get back on them the right way. Giving a chance for this letter to be heard or published is greatly appreciated.
