Overcharged phone bill

I had been in Cozumel Mex. And in the Park Royal Resort. I'd to create 2 telephone calls to put requests to get a company in the USA. Adopted path on motel telephone to be used of charge card to create telephone calls. I created both telephone calls each lasting three minutes each. I had been approached by credit dard organization to confirm utilization and was informed each phone was $36.00 each. I'd no idea exactly what the costs might have been in that case I'd not need created these calls. Personally I think the resort also must have had a cost listing about the telephone to inform me towards the cost of those calls.
