Ripoff ABSOLUTE SCAM I'm not giving these scam artists a penny of my money

RB Sports conned me into participating in a "free" trial of golf clubs for 45 days, saying that it was a marketing study for a manufacturer. The clubs were nothing special and I began efforts to return the clubs well within the trial period, but their deceptive tactics begin with roadblocks to returning the clubs, continue through ridiculous restocking charges, perpetuate through unsuccessfully challenging the chargeback that I ran through my credit card company and have now culminated in turning me over to a collection agency, because I refuse to pay more than a thousand dollars for my "free" trial.

With guidance from my credit card company, I finally managed to get the clubs returned to RB Sports in January and my credit card company reversed the charge that RB Sports had run on my account when they initially shipped the "free" clubs to me for the trial period.

Yesterday I received notification from a collection agency that RBSports is trying to collect $960 for the clubs, $20 for shipping & handling and four 10% transaction fees ($98 each) - one for January, February, March and April where they are describing the transaction as "chargeback - 10% transaction fee" - I can tell ya', I only had to chargeback the item one time, because my credit card company is making every effort to protect me from the deceptive business practices of RB Sports, so I'm assuming that this 10% chargeback transaction fee must be where they are trying to re-run the charge and my credit card company will not honor it.

I'm not giving these scam artists a penny of my money and I wish I could tell the world about them so no one else would suffer the consequences I've faced.
