Held my boat hostage

Lakeshore Marina is refusing to release my boat because of two months of unpaid slip fees and the fact that I do not want to renew my lease for another year. The problem is that I have proven the payment was made with a paid check copy from my bank yet they still won't release my boat. This leaves me with one conclusion; they are attempting to force me to sign a contract for another year? This feels like nothing short of extorsion.in trying to resolve the problem, the owner screamed, cursed at me and hung up on me two different times. The problem is so far unresolved and I am going to be forced to hire legal help to get my boat back. Do not do business with the new owners of this marina.
