Edge Fitness advertises on the radio and with fliers in mailboxes $19.95 per month. No contract.
When you enter the store there is a sign on the counter. $79 joining fee and you must give 30 days notice before you can quit. I don't want them attaching my checking account and you're not allowed to pay cash. Now if there's a joining fee a monthly charge and 30 days to terminate I say that this is a contract. No contract to me would mean I pay $19.95 cash per month.
I say this is false advertising. BBB has unresolved complaints as to this issue.
