Intoxx Fitness - Roxborough, Philadelphia, PA Company will not cancel Accounts

Got a 1 year membership to a gym (Intoxx Fitness) Stayed throught he whole year and at the end of the year did not want to continue. Asked what I had to do at the gym both when I joined and near the end of the contract and was told after 1 year it becomes month-to-month. To any normal person that means it cancels when not pre-paid, right? Well I asked to make sure and was told that it auto cancelled. It's been 4 months and I just got a call saying that I am past due on my account, I explained that I was told it should auto cancel. ASF International told me thats not correct and gave me an email address to send my cancellation request to. The email address they gave me was wrong (undeliverable) and I was told that I still had to pay the bill and late fees.
