Optic 1050
Optic 1050 with X1000 Magnification? Biggest Rip-Off Yet!

Don't be Fooled by "Optic 1050" as I was. I was looking for an inexpensive pair of 10X50Bino's, so I thought I would try the Optic 1050's. It was a few years back, so I called the number on the TV& ordered them.

Well six weeks went by, 8 weeks went by & nothing showed up. I had to call them to report their none-shipment after they took my money days after I ordered them. I should have just demanded a refund, but I didn't.

Anyway the bino's finally arrived, I tried & triedadjusting them to focus the eye pieces & objective lenses. No way, they are only good for a paper weight, & too big for that.

They advertise 30 miles & 1000 X Magnification? Wrong! They are 10 X 50's, & this means they are 50mm at the objective lens, and 10 X power. You can't even focus them at 30 yards. FNJ, = JUNK!

This is the worst I can recall, ever being Fooled / Burned big time! I wound up giving them to my youngest Daughter to play with, & bought a brand name pair of 10 X 50's that are crisp & clear.

I have an oldpair of 8 X 42's I bought back in 1990 that are ten times better. So Remember This; You Get What You Pay For! Don't Waist Your Money! Spend two to three hundred bucks& get a Real Pair.
