The Vertical Project Unauthorized charges to credit, Theft by deception, LIES

One of Luke Lowrey's scam methods is exposed by a nice video on youtube:

The idea was, someone was selling out of business, and would only be in business for 4 more days. So they were letting this system go for just $1. There were free bonuses and everywhere the reassurance that there were no tricks or gimmicks.

Later, they removed that website (in 4 days as promised), but then started charging my credit card $59.95 each month. I was so busy with school, I didn't notice the first charge, but when I saw the second, I called CitiBank to cancel it. They informed me that a third charge had also been added. CitiBank would not remove the charges, despite the fact that I did not authorize them. Even if somewhere buried in the advertizing it had said there would be these charges, that would have contradicted numerous, high profile shouting about "no gimmicks", etc. If the company was going out of business in 4 days, why would I sign up for some kind of coaching or whatever I was supposed to get for $59.95 per month?
