Scam

This individual is using the name Shane. He has an ad posted on Craigslist in my area for these two jet ski's. I thought that it was a little unbelievable at the time, but I sent Shane an e-mail anyway. This is the e-mail communication...

That way you will receive assistance for the purchase, title's transfer and an extended warranty. They also are guaranteeing purchases up to 10.000 so we will both be protected. I prefer the Vehicle Purchase Protection service from eBay. After they arrived you have 2 days to test and if you decide to keep them eBay will release me the money. If the jet ski's is NOT like in the photos and description they will refund your money and the shipping company will take the jet ski's back on my expense and keep them until I find a new buyer. This way is more acceptable for me, Shane.

Hi, My husband and I are very interested in being a part of the "private auction". We have cash on hand... Are both jet ski's paid in full? Is there and lien hold on them? If not, then you would not be in objection to a contract stating that there is not a lien hold on them? Please let me know, and let me know what we need to do if there is no hold on the sale of the jet ski's. Thanks.

The jet ski's is still for sale and I have titles for the two skis and trailer in hand. The both are in perfect shape. I am forced by a bank loan to sell the ski's so I need the money and I must do that. Don't worry, the loan does not involve the ski's. My final price is $4,950 for ski's total price for both, including trailer. I already have tons of emails so I hope you understand that I need to sort them out. I will take in consideration only those buyers who are really interested in buying the ski's, to be sure that I don't waste my time with endless discussions. This guy never addresses the fact that I said that I would pay for the jet ski's in cash; meaning that I would come and pick them up. He also never addresses that questions that I had about a lien hold on the product.
I'm glad that I found this scam out before it was too late!!
