Premier Fitness, 1050 Islington Ave, Biggest Ripoff & Upset Ever!

On March 9th I signed up @ Premier Fitness. While I do not have a problem with the gym, per se, I do have a huge problem with the Physical Trainer Aspect of the club.
I was coerced into getting a personal trainer with the gym, and at the time it did seem like a good idea because i wanted to get fit for a trip I'm taking in October.
The plan was to have payments come out of my account twice a month for $269.06 starting at the end of march.
I was billed right from the beginning of march and when i complained to the gym, they told me that the 1st payment in march would go towards aprils payment. That was fine.

I was having a good time, with no problems until April 10th when their head office collections dept called me to tell me that i missed April 10ths payment and that previous payments had gone NSF.
I contacted the gym and was told to provide my bank statement so that the $80 is NSF charges could be taken off April 25ths payment. I was also told that I would be taken off Pre-authorized payments and would have to pay by cheque (also fine by me) as to not incur any other NSF charges.
On April 13th, my personal trainer was fired. I was told that I would be contacted by Premier to setup an appointment for a new trainer and that i would not be charged for it.

I have yet to be contacted.
Premier has also tried to deduct bi-weekly payments from me since April 13th with one being successful. I did however get that one back.
I contacted their head office to setup an appointment with their customer service manager to discuss this problem and upon arriving (and waiting 20 minutes for reception) was told that the manager was not going to be in until 12pm. She had made this appointment with me the previous day for 10:30am.

I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau about the behavior of the club and have received only one phone call from the gym, telling me to stop contacting their head office to complain about them.

I had made it very clear that any and ALL pre-authorized payments/debits on my account were to be stopped and attempted to close my account.
As of today, May 6th, my bank has informed me that Premier Fitness has attempted to deduct a payment of $269.06 FIVE TIMES, each going nsf and each charging me $40. Thats $200 in NSF charges PLUS the $80 previously! Absolutely insane.

When I contacted Premier to rectify the problem and have the NSF charges reversed, I was told that it was my fault that the charges were there because there was no money in my account to cover the cost of my personal training sessions. I mentioned to the manager there that i had not had a training session since april 13th and was again told that it was my fault that i had not been given a new trainer.

I have spoken with 4 people within Premier Fitness, two from the location and two from head office and NO ONE has been helpful. I have tried numerous times to have this contract canceled and have been told over and over again that i signed a contract and have to honor it otherwise i will be reported to the credit bureau and be given a r9 rating, i will be taken to court to have the money forcefully taken from me, and i have also been told that my "crying and lying to head office" isn't going to do anything.

I am sick and tired of this.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that no one trust Premier Fitness. This is the absolute worst gym I have ever had the displeasure of being associated with and do not wish anyone to go through what I am still going through.
