Max Emfinger All-American Bowl Game

Max Emfinger contacted my company to provide tranportation for his bowl game in which was being held in Shreveport, Louisiana. Max sign a contract with us and agreed to pay us the week of the game.
We provided two buses and one 20 passenger supper stretch limousine (Excursion) the week before the game and the day of the game.
We could never pin Max down for our payment. The coaches assured us that Max had our money and that we would get paid.
As the week on we began to see the parents pay for things such as meals and hotel rooms. We also heared that Max puts on these games with no money and would ask the parents for money. We heared there were businesses that did not get paid. We were told later that the rings Max gave all the players were not paid for either.
The day of the game the stadium gates where still locked because Max had not paid and that the game would not be allowed until some money was paid. The gates were not open till a couple of hours before the game.
After the game and when we were back at the hotel, some of the players had been locked out of their rooms because of non-payment of the hotel bill. Also the police were there to arrest Max if he didn't pay the bill.
We tried to have Max arrested for thief of services, but was told it was a civl matter. We went to court and won a judgement against Max Emfinger, but he has only paid about $1,000.00 on a $12,000 judgement. A couple of month before this years game we received a court order to seize all monies from this game to cover our judgement. As of today Max has not given our attorney any financial information on this years game.
It is my opinion that Max Emfinger is a liar, con man and thief. The reason he gets away with this every year is because there is a new group of young men wanting to better themselves. These same young men having loving parents who will do anything to help their child.
Max Emfinger knows this and uses it to his betterment. He fleeces parents, love ones and businesses to fund his scheme. I fell that Max Emfinger needs to be exposed for what he truly is and not allowed to be involved any type of sporting events.
We will be contacting the Louisiana State Attorney's Office. We suggest since he has crossed state lines you should contact your local state attorneys office.
