Our team attended hitting practice here. We paid $780.00 to attend. Our players then told us that when they attended, a coach/owner of the business was soliciting our players

We paid $780.00 to Hitters University for 16 hitting practices in their facility. Some of our players were then being solicited to the team of an employee of the facility. We thought this was not good business. We informed them we could no longer attend as this was a distraction to our players.

Even though this happened, they told us we would only receive a refund for $190.00. They denied any soliciting of our players. Therefore is was the word of our players and parents against their employees. Therefore, they are keeping $590.00 for five hitting visits by our team. Huge, huge huge, RIPOFF as there is nothing to justify this kind of money for a tunnel with a net around it.
Even though we stopped due to our players being solicited, he said that is all he would refund. He also included charging us for the next nights visit even though we cancelled the day before. We gave 24 hours notice. Teams always have to cancel at some point or another and he is not willing to refund that money either. He said he needed to get the place full and cancellations did not make him money.

I am going to add that we are a childrens team.
We raise money to pay for these children to play and receive instruction. Our boys and parents volunteer their time to raise this money, which people are so quick to keep at any cost.

Cancellations always happen in baseball facilities, the facilities do not normally keep the money for the visit. There was no contract, nothing signed, and no warning of being charged for cancellations. So Beware.
