Quality Lift, QualityAluminumBoatLift, Inc. Quality Lift of Pensacola, FL did not send me what I paid for and shipping company claims they shorted me!

My gripe is with an E-bay dealer: Quality Aluminum Boat Lift, Inc. ID qualitylifts (528) Blain Card of Pensacola, FL, owner. I purchased a 6,000 capacity boat lift for $2,400. The company cashed my check and never completed the order.

When I asked QAB to complete the order Mr Mike Rice was offended that anyone should question their policy. It got very nasty and I posted negative feedback on Ebay when they refused to ship the Boat lift. Since December '08 they refuse to speak to me or return my telephone calls.

To this very day, Feb 20th, '09 Manager M. Rice blamed the shipper for the shortage, the shipper says Quality Boat Lift only shipped what I had received. No motors, no gears, no controls, no wiring only a small cardboard box labeled "parts to complete boat lift".

I would suggest it is not worth having to put up with all that Ebay has made me go through, including an Administrative Action against Quality Boat Lift, that does not provide any kind of action. This was the fourth purchase I made with this company, and did not expect to be treated so badly.

Save your money folks, it does not pay to buy from Ebay or dealers like this because no one, including Ebay, cares if a product has been misrepresented or not shipped in their sales listings. Also pay with a credit care, or paypal because a check, once cashed, is gone like smoke in the wind. Likewise, if the company is not listed with Better Business Bureau their is a reason: (QAB had 3 complants recently filed against them). BBB can not be of much assistance if the company is not a member.
