Charge finished price for unfinished stock

I contacted the "Great American Gunstock Company" on March 21 inquiring about a replacement stock for a Mauser 88. I spoke with Henry Pohl several times via email and phone. I gave explicit instructions on the fact that my customer wanted a completely finished stock, with the original rosewood tips. I explicitly asked for a definite price on a completely finished stock, even offered to send a copy of our FFL. I was quoted app. $500 for a finished stock and had to ship the original stock to him so he could manufacture an exact duplicate. I was charged $490.10 on our company credit card and received an unfinished blank stock with the rosewood tips cut off the original stock and cut down to fit the blank stock. Their website has a 100% satisfaction guarantee listed and I contacted Henry to get this fixed. Henry outright lied and claimed that I never asked for a "finished" stock, that I asked for an unfinished stock. I have supporting documentation for all of my claims. I am currently in the process of filing with my credit card company to get my money back. I am *still* trying to find a replacement stock for my customer and have even gone so far as to try to contact Mauser in Germany. I would not have to be doing this if Henry had not blatantly lied and tried to rip us off. I only wish that I had found these claims here on ripoff BEFORE I contacted the "Great American Gunstock Company"!
