Never delivered paid-for goods. Never honored refund after many requests

This purchase started off innocent enough, approximately 2 weeks before Christmas 2007. I found BHM Golf online while searching for a particular golf bag — a Titleist with the Minnesota Twins MLB emblem stitched in it. BHM advertised the item as "in stock" and gave no indication that there was any back order status for this item. Having found what I needed for a great gift, I excitedly rushed a Paypal payment to Brian H. Meyer. Had I paid with a regular visa, this report wouldn't be written. The cost was $189.

I got my confirmation emails from BHM, but never got any shipping info. Within 2-3 days of the purchase, I contacted Brian to see if my order would arrive in time for the holiday. At that time, Brian told me that Titleist was "Way backed up" on these bags, and I wouldn't be able to get mine until January. I was disappointed at the fact I hadn't been notified of backorder status, but figured the specialized Titleist product was worth the wait.

As January came and went, and very little response from Brian to my emails asking for shipping/tracking notification, I began to get suspicious and filed a claim with Paypal. Paypal told me there was nothing they could do in this type of sale (non-auction), so that was a big lesson learned for me. I was forced to wait it out, and deal with BHM myself.

Since that day, I have been calling and emailing BHM twice a week. Each time, I've had to restate to Brian what the situation is, what has been promised to me, and what we could do to work out the situation. It became quite apparent that BHM didn't have the right to even advertise selling the Titleist bag. They have no connection to Titleist.

I've asked for my money back close to 100 times, and even offered to accept $189 worth of ANY merchandise he could provide me with in exchange. Each time, Brian tells me my money order is on the way. I've yet to see it. Christmas was ruined for someone, who I had to present a picture of the bag to in December, with an empty promise attached to it.

I've explained to Brian several times that this goes way beyond the money. This is a matter of business ethics, for which, he has none. Feel free to send Brian a message and let him know how we feel about ripoff artists like this.
