Just came across this site and thought I would add my own report on this company.

I went to their site in 2003 to get a free sandwedge that they were offering. Through this process I was talked into trying out a set of woods - Driver, 3,4, 5,7 for 45 days "risk free" If I didn't like them I could keep the driver free (minus S&H) I told the salesman that I wasnt in the market for clubs (repeatedly told him) but he said I had nothing to lose and would get to keep a great driver in the process. It was also early september and there wasnt much golf time left here in midwest.

I tried them out (after paying $400.00 security deposit) and found them to be nice clubs. I called back well ahead of the 45 days to return the woods and got the "high pressure" sales pitch. I was offered a complete set of irons to go with the woods and finally a refund of $200.00 off my security deposit, so basically got the whole deal for $200.00

I checked my CC statement next month and no refund. I called customer service and they stated it was an error on their part and the refund would be processed right away.

I checked my CC statement the THRID month and still no refund. I called customer service and got the same reply. I told them this was a load of crap and I wanted to speak to a manager. I was told that managers do not speak to customers. I informed the rep that at this point I considered them having stole $200.00 from me and my next step was to file a police report in both cali and ohio where I live. Didn't seem to phase them at all.

My next call was actually to my CC company to file a complaint. They did their thing and I saw the credit appear the following month on my statement.

I never got an explaination from my CC complany so I dont know if they just credited to me or they actually got the refund.

I feel Warrior has this set up to wear down the average person an pocket the money they promised. I also an sorry I didnt follow up with the AG and BBB in California.

I still play with some of their clubs but will NEVER buy from them again! Funny thing is they still send me offers in the mail. LOL

My advice is to not deal with them at all, but if you do, use a CC with a good consumer protection policy like AmExpress.
