NO Follow Up Service - Got My Money

I purchased my remote control golf cart (Silver Hawk) in April. It cost me $999.99 for the unit, which was on the high side. The additional included accessories (rain cover, seat, storage cover) were not worth the additional money compared to the competition. I believe and still feel the cart is an excellent product. However...

I received the product with minimal damage - plastic scorecard holder was broken. I contacted the company by email and it was sent out immediately.

In AUgust, I began to have elctrical / electronic problems with the controls which are handle mounted as well as the remote control unit.

I tried numerous times to reach the company via its contact options - email or fax. No response to 5 emails and faxes. I even tried to contact someone via the sales number without success. It's a recording. I left a message that I wanted buy a cart and still no one called me.

The cart probably needs a new control board, which seems simple; however, I can't get any response or service. There is no listing for spare parts or authorized service contact.

The unit is still within the warranty period. That doesn't do much good if no one will respond.

It appears that American Hawks LLC is affiliated with NFM Direct which no longer has an active web site.

I thought I did my due diligence before the purchase. Unfortunately, this makes it difficult for the legitimate companies doing business on the Internet.
