Ripoff - passing off cheap junk as "Quality"

There is no way to repair this thing, the problem is in the DESIGN. Either out of the box or within the first 48 hours of receiving this thing, it had/developed the following problems:

1. Seat Clamp so cheaply made that my 110 lb. Son bent it just trying to clamp the seat. There is also no way to clamp it tight enough to stop the seat from twisting.

2. Lever and shaft to hold the handlebars stripped loose so the handlebars could not be locked in the upright position.

3. Screw holding rear brake falls out, brake locks up and then breaks. Don't give me "tighten all the screws every time you ride it" Have you people ever heard of a locknut? THIS IS A DESIGN FLAW!

4. Fuse Holder, (which by the way was installed into the electrical box with HOT GLUE!) breaks off below the cap.

5. Handlebar to frame interface designed with one of the components the wrong size, making the thing shake all over the road above 5 mph. This is unrelated to the clamp problem in (2) above.

6. Some type of electrical system problem now prevents the engine from turning off when the key is turned to off. Keeps running even if the key is removed.

7. Body Panel screws fall out. These are designed so they are tightened against a rubber washer, making it impossible to tighten them enough to stop them from loosening. Again locknut! Even a little loctite!

8. Rear fender cannot be istalled without bending the plastic. It looks like it could crack if the screws were tightened. When one or the other end of the fender is fastened down, the holes at the other end are about 3/4 in from the holes in the frame.

9. Seat is broken off at the springs. The seat is made of very thin plastic and couldn't possible last. The manufacturer says this scooter has a "max recommended weight" of 320 lbs. The seat broke when I sat on it, not even riding. I weigh 210.

10. Electrical box on the bottom of the frame is attached with the corners wide open. With its location on the bottom of the frame, any water/mud on the streets is going to go right into the box — water, mud, electrical wires — mixing these is never a good idea.

11. The operators manual tell you to mix gas/oil at 50:1. It is a good thing I checked the mfgr's web site, where they tell you to use 32:1, and not to go below 40:1 or engine damage will result.

This can't be fixed with parts, it needs a re-design. This company seems to have no concept of quality control. What am I going to have to spend on parts after the 30 day warranty is up?
