Birmingham, racetrack defective self serve gambling machines and apathy in fixing them ripoff nationwide but office

I have to wager at a greyhound track in Birmingham AL to bet racehorses, as it is the only game in town. The machines are run by Scientific Games. They are in horrible repair, and their touch pads stick, causing extra numbers and amounts other than the ones punched. This problem in chronic at the track I wager at. Proving you punched different numbers and amounts are almost impossible to document. Whether this is an isolated event or is the problem bigger than one track I can't swear to? I worked for Woodbine Entertainment in the mutual department, which may I add, has the same Scientific Games operating the machines there without problems that I have noticed in my visits in the last few years. Albeit, they are a lot more advanced devices were in operation than found in Alabama.

I first started notifying the local workers of Scientific Games, the track management and customer service over 2 yrs ago. The local staff if enough people complained would, when shown unplug the defective machines only to plug them in an hour latter without fixing them.in the last year I called the head office of Scientific Games in Atlanta 14 (I have all my phone records as well as emails to Scientif Games and correspondence with the track's General Manager) times only once getting through to someone who showed interest-a Mr Haslip. Who after our conversation said he would be out of town but available in 2 days to reseach this matter futher. 5 calls and messages left on his voicemail a month later my last call I said I was going to court as he DID NOT get back to me.

I'd appreciate input, as I have two racehorses in training that I own. I love to gamble and actually contrary to the concept people can't win gambling 4 of the last 5 years I have. I take it "very seriously" and don't look at it as a game or entertainment as much as a business. The defective machines destroy whatever edge I have. At this moment I refuse to go play at the track anymore because of this problem. When over a period of more than 2 years I told local and head office personal along with others of the problem they deny, deny, and deny. Is anyone faced with the same problems? If enough people join to make it worth their while to fix them they will act.
