Took my money but never delivered the product. He is a thief! Ripoff

I ordered a plexiglass scooter windshield from Mr. Dutra on March 3, & paid immediately through PayPal. He said the windshield had to be custom manufactured & he would send it in 4 weeks.

I could kick myself. 4 weeks is the time limit for making a claim with PayPal. Anyway, he never contacted me. 6 weeks later I finally got ahold of him (he has several email addresses & phone numbers) by email. He replied that the windhsield would be sent.

Back & forth we went, until 2 weeks, later, in frustration, I asked that the order be cancelled & the money returned.

The next day he sent out the windshield, wrapped in bubble wrap only, NO BOX, & the package was rather small for a windshield. This was because the windshield was broken & in 2 pieces when it arrived. UPS told me it was broken when they received it.

I sent it back immediately. Dutra emailed me & informed me that as soon as UPS paid up, he'd send another windshield.

Guess what? It's August 30, & I don't have a windshield or my money. During this time I complained to the San Diego Better Business Bureau, but he did not respond.

This guy goes back & forth between Portugal & San Diego. There's a group of scooter people who party with him & think he's a scooter god. From my experience, he is a thief & a liar.
