Packing Plus Job Scam

Shops, Products, Services

I applied to a job advertisement as a Delivery Scheduler, I sent my Resume to Carylon Currie cv. Replies. Logistics@gmx.com. I got a response on 11/20 that I have been hired and my supervisor will contact me very soon. I was told the job will involve receiving shipments, taking their pictures, uploading in the data base d-b editor.com and then shipping it out to customers.

I was promised my salary of $2400 would be paid after 30 days of probation. I received and email from Anna Katsen welcoming me to the company and telling me she's my manager. She emailed me the company's contract papers and instructions on how to do my job.

I got my first order on 11/01 and I shipped it to the customer as instructed in the data base. Anna has already uploaded a prepaid USPS label for the shipment o the data base, all I did was to download and print, the replace the invoice that came with the shipment with the one that she uploaded to the data base.

I remember I was told to send my bank info if I wanted direct deposit and mail the legal documents that were emailed to me at the beginning of the job 7 days before the end of my probation for me to be paid my salary. I mailed out a copy of my Social Security card, Drivers' LC, W4 and other copies of the legal documents that were emailed to me at the start of the job.

My probation ended on 11/30, but it fell on a Friday so I was told I will get paid on the next business day which was on 11/03. I checked my Bank account to see if I was paid, but nothing came in! I called my manager, she picked the phone, but as soon as she heard my voice, she kept quiet and have refused to answer her phone ever since.

I thought I did a thorough research about the company when I got the job offer by searching the internet to see if there has ever been any complaint about this company, but I didn't see anything.

Their www.receive-me.com website looks very legitimate for my to doubt them, she even called my home phone and I saw a caller ID with receiveme 1, making me to believe there is a company registered as theirs.

I am afraid they have used stolen Credit Cards to Buy goods online and shipped them to my home for me to help them ship it to their partners in crime abroad.

I'm reporting this to help other people like me looking for job to help our families to be VERY careful with the types and kinds of jobs we take online. These people are so perfect by making everything look so real, going as far as creating a website and registering phone lines to make their dubious acts look genuine.
