On December I purchased A couch from Factory direct furniture in oklahoma city and also purchased a stainsafe warranty. On August 3rd I notified stainsafe in writting about an accidental burn to the fabric.
Stainsafe sent me a letter of Authorization for replacement of the cushion, and stated the the cushion would be shipped to my home in 8- 12 weeks. On october 25th stainsafe called me and told me they needed the serial number to execute the claim. So I went to the sofa in search of the number requested and found a paper tag under the recling foot rest, and went to remove the tag and noticed that a staple holding the tag on, had been shot right through the serial number which was no longer readable. I told them the number was not readable due to a staple in the tag.

Stainsafe informed me without a serial number there was nothing they could do for me, I called the store where i Purchased the couch they told me that they told stainsafe on August 11 they would need the serial number to order the part stainsafe did not ask me for the serial number untill Oct. 25th. When i spoke with the manager of the furiture store he stated that all that should needed was the style and color and also didn't understand what the serial number had to do with anything. I filed a complaint with florida Better Buisness Bureau and they are looking int the matter and have contacted stainsafe and are awaiting a reply.

I have decided if stainsafe will not respond to my complaint after sending E-mails, letters by certified mail, and faxes, I Will make a point to send them a fax and E-mail Every Day untill they are as sick of me as I am of them This has worked in the past with other companies. Once i faxed a company 200 times on a weekend untill their fax machine was empty of paper and still wonder what kind of mess was on the floor they threatened to file harrassment charges agaist me i told them if they would do there job, I wouldn't have to be such an asshole. And utill then I would be. They satified my needs real quickly. Stainsafe get ready and if anyone out there know of a class action suit agianst stansafe let me know.
