Rebate rip-off

On October 1 I had a misfortune to purchase MYOB Plus 12 from Buy.com (Order # 17101794) which was advertised as "free after rebate". There were two rebates involved one for $125.00 and another Buy.com $30.00 rebate for purchases over $200.00. I submitted all the required documentation as it was indicated in rebate terms and conditions. It's been over a year now and I still don't have my rebates.

I've contacted Buy.com Rebate Center (aka Rebatestatus.com) and resubmitted my rebates via mail and via fax multiple times and every time they claim my rebate has never been received. I've contacted Buy.com via email but received no response. It's impossible to speak to anybody on the phone because Buy.com does not have a dedicated phone customer service. All this leads me to believe that Buy.com uses false advertisement to sell their product and tries to bail out from paying the rebates.
