CVS Pharmacy Pearland TX
Influenza Vaccine Visit - Influenza Vaccine, Poor Customer Service

Called CVS technician at pharmacy regarding flu vaccine at 1400 on 9-17 & he refused to give info regarding whether my plan covered this vaccine or not. Wouldn't look it up. Called my insurance plan and found out CVS is actually the contracted provider for my insurance to handle it's pharmacy issues! Went later in evening to obtain shot, filled out paper work after wait to get form, then another wait of 25 min before could turn it back in. Asked pharmacist question regarding shot and she couldn't answer question & stated would research it. Technician still wasn't interested in registering my insurance info or facilitating things to allow me to get the shot completed & had starting doing other things. Asked him to start processing insurance info. Then when pharmacist returned, she stated they didn't even have any influenza vaccine available and hadn't since yesterday! I could have been informed of this when I had called by phone or when I first went up to see the tech but instead I had wasted all that time! What an incredible way to run a business. When I asked the pharmacist to do something for me that was related to medications, she refused, and referred me to another person which required me to wait another 30 minutes before I was actually assisted!!! I relayed this the the "manager' of this store who is all of 20 something and did nothing to rectify the situation. No wonder this store does not function. This is not the first time have had appalling customer service but it is the last will go there.
