Did not pay final bill

I worked for this company to do rehab work in Chicago. Before I would even start the job, I told them they would have to make payments to me, which they did until the final step. They refused to make final payment to me for the work that was done. The inspection came back as completed. I had warned this company that in this area of Chicago, items are usually stolen after being put in, which this happened. Now the company says that this was my problem and not theirs. I feel that this is a very bad way to handle a business. They know that they are not going to make final payment out to people, because they don't think there is anything you can do about it. I plan on doing everything possible to put this company out of business. I don't know why companies pull people in to do work for them, and laugh in their faces and not pay them. This has to stop. I hope that anyone who reads this will be smart and check out the companies ratings before they are also being ripped off.
