Avoid Company Corporation's deceptive, expensive and aggressive vortex - reports about them true

Other reports about The Company Corporation engaging in expensive deceptions are indeed true, and my experience is eerily similar to that reported by other customers. I registered a corporation with The Company Corporation largely on account of their convenient offer of a "$99 processing fee" (in addition to state mandated fees). When signing up, they do not allow you to specify a registered agent as one would when filing directly with the State of Florida. This, it later becomes discovered, is because they specify themselves as the registered agent - and then charge a very large fees for this hidden "service". This fee is not stated anywhere on their sign-up form and is burried in the fine print of the terms of service - a practice which I have been informed is considered deceptive by the FTC. They do not inform you that these fees will be incurred and do not provide information on how to change the registered agent.indeed, a costly bill in the amount of $260 arrives within a few months of using their $99 service and, when you telephone them to inquire what it concerns they state that it is their fee for being a registered agent. I see this plainly as a deceptive practice, and in contract terms, there is "no meeting of the minds" to form a separate contract for this service. As I reasonably did not pay this deceptively designed invoice, a barrage of collection threat notices have regularly arrived. For me, and perhaps too for you, it is reasonable to claim the cause of action of libel / slander against this outfit, should they publish and press their claim with a collection agency. Other complaints posted on this board which suggests and recommends a class action suit might not be a bad idea here. That this Company Corporation website posts the image of the Better Business Bureau is very much questionable, and perhaps their affirmative offense.
