Mr. Tom Melcher has been silent and unresponsive about an overdue invoice totaling over $3700. I have tried several times to communicate to Tom giving ample opportunity to do the right thing and pay what is owed.instead, he has changed the name of his company hoping that this would satisfy, distract or at a minimum indemnify him of his obligations. It does none of those.

Changing the name of a company does NOT free you of your responsibility to pay your vendors. Only bankruptcy and liquidation can do that. As far as I know, this legal action has not been taken.

Knowingly receiving services from a provider and not compensating them for their work constitutes as thievery. This is a moral deficit and breaks the basic social code. One who knowingly steals from their vendors/suppliers without an effort to reconcile should not be put in a position to consult on matters related to Business Performance and Sustainability practices.
