This guy is a complete scam artist. We hired the company to help move our home. We were quoted a rate of 65.00 an hour and we verified that 7 different times with the owner Rob and Marie Lawler. We were quote a time of 1 PM. They arrived late by two and a half hours. My wife signed the contract that stated the arrival time of 3:32 PM with a rate of 69.00 an hour. We explained that this wasn't the quoted rate and called and the 65.00 rate was verified. This was all that was on the contract at the time. Only a arrival time and the rate per hour.

The trouble started when we arrived at the storage unit. The driver whoise name was Double Dee which turns out to be an alias for a guy from Georigia last name Foster. He handed a bill that was double then what we were quoted. I now know why he is named double dee. I told him I wasn't going to pay the doubled amount. I asked for the owner's name and phone number. He claimed he only knew him by Rob and the number was on the truck. He said he meets this guy at a gas station in the morning and he gives him work. I was shocked that he didn't know the last guys name.

We ended up calling the police and it turns out that Robert has quite the long record of ripping off customers.

When I returned home and after a long research of the web, I came up with the guy's last name Robert Lawler. He has 78 complaints against him listed in the BBB, he has 100's of terrible reviews. It would be really hard to get this info before hand as the guy changes his company's name every other month.

He claims to be a LLC company but no search showed him to be incorporated in Texas. No search showed him to be licensed and bonded in Texas. No search showed a Tax ID and being that he demands to be paid in CASH only I severely doubt he pays taxes.

I advice anyone who has done business with this guy to notify the State Comptroller, the Local news, the DA of Harris County and the BBB.

It is crooks like this that pry on victims that need to be stopped and ran out heck out of Texas. We are taking this cause to heart and will be doing everything in our power to make sure this company has a hard time taking any more victims for their hard earned money.

Their contract is shady, they employee shady people. Even their own contract labor stated that they have a hire turn over rate due to the scams of the old bait and switch.

We have contact the local news and they will be opening up an Investigation on this guy, so if you have been a victim by this company, please let us know so we can run this guy out of town.
