ES Appraisal Service
Very Unethical and Non-Compliant with USPAP, Extremely Unprofessional

ES Appraisal Service is unethical and obnoxious non-professionals. They owe my company $1,700 and will not respond to my e-mail about payment. They wanted me to use hypothetical data in my report and when refused to change a very valid
report which contained verifiable data, they refused to pay me. I was called repeatedly and harassed continually regarding making changes that could not be validate. They ordered a drive-by appraisal and not an interior. I verified the square footage with local tax assessor's office along with a hard copy drawing of the floor plan.

I called and informed ES Appraisal Service about the square footage difference prior to performing the assignment. I was told by the agent that placed the order to proceed using the tax assesor's verifiable data and to attach that data to my final report of which I did as requested. When report went to QA, the flood of phone calls started, requesting I use the square footage on the order. I stated this square footage is not verifiable data and I only prepare appraisals based on hard verifiable data.

I was hollered at by representatives of this company several times and three times threatened to not be paid and the latest e-mail states they were "pulling the order" based on me not changes the square footage to agree with what was set down on the order, (again unverifiable). Appraisers are getting screwed on every hand and it is simply ABUSE. I have been a Certified General for 30 years, I have an impeccable reputation among my piers and with Real Estate Comission, I refuse to comprise and put something or just anything down in my report if I can not verify the data. Please do not use this AMC. I will be taking my complaint to the Federal Trade Commission and other Governmental Agencies.
