Nationwide Connections -and - OAN ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing to a phone that can't even make outgoing calls

What a ripoff! Dishonest, fraudulent and illegal billing! Opened my Verizon bill to find an extra $7.41 charge on the bill marked "other". After reviewing, it is a bill for a third part, "as a service to OAN" they say.

Under that, they list Nationwide Connections, Inc - with address/etc mentioned above - and a 9 minute phone call to a 516-351-8264, which is listed as an operator is Garden City NY. Hmmmm... Funny, because this "Phone" they are charging doesn't even exist! It is a business line we use for incoming calls only - no real phone exists, i.E. Handset, wire, etc. We use Verizons Answer Call to collect messages to this number and then call in from the road.

SOME RACKET - and I see, after researching, that I am not the only one. How can this go on? Who actually reports them? Verizon must receive countless reports of fraudulent billing, do they just zero out that portion of the bill... Anyone follow up with this widespread problem? They must make a MINT from people who don't pay attention to the nickels and dimes.
