Turbotxt
Turbotxt fraudulently began charging account - Claimed that I had previously agreed - Was not aware of turbtxt until my account was being charged

Shops, Products, Services

I found a monthly charge of 9.99 from Turbotxt being applied to my cell phone bill. I was not aware of such services that I had signed up for nor wanted. I called the company to ask why I was being charged. Turbotxt stated that I had implicitly agreed by clicking a series of popups that had shown up on my phone. I told them that I had never conciously agreed to any services from them nor did I even know at that point what they were offering.

I requested that they immediately stop charging my account and remove any subscriptions. They did so. I asked that the 9.99 be refunded to me. They told me that they could not do this. I told them that I would consider pursuing a lawsuit and or further action to stop them and get a refund if they did not agree. Only at this point did they agree to send me a check.

I further looked into what Turbotxt was offering and found that there is nothing more than them sending a text every week" Every week youll get facts that seem too incredible to be true. Plus, youll collect points for electronics and more on the go!". I looked through my text messages to find such the following ridiculous texts that I had previously disregarded as being spam. This is what they claimed to be offering for 9.99 a month.

It is clear that the company is trying to claim to provide services and fraudulently signing up customers in a uninformed and disguised manner.
