Lowered limit after asking for lower rate

After having a card in good standing for 20 yrs I called and asked if I might qualify for a better interest rate. After speaking with supervisor John Davis he informed me that since I had been making more than the minimum payment I would not.

Imagine my surprise when several days later I received a letter informing me (John certainly did not) that my limit had been been cut fron 20,000 to 2,600 but the acount would remain open.

Are you kidding me? Do yourself a favor and google best credit cards and do business withsomeone that appreciates their customers. All you have to do is read the blogs to see how many othersthey have done this to.

Too bad they were bailed out. Lucky for me I believe in karma.
