When the sears technician hooked up our new dryer, he failed to apply proper gas leak prevention on the fitting, thereby causing a gas leak that had accumulated in the wash room. The Fire Dept. Was called to establish that there was indeed a leak. The gas was shut off. We immediately called to report this to sears. The person stated that it would be two days before they can send someone out. We were charged 70 dollars for this incompetent act. I decided to rectify the problem myself.
