Unfulfilled contract

My husband and I had a destination wedding in Florida almost two years ago. We
contracted with Alex Souza Photography to photograph our wedding, provide us with our digital negatives, 150 4x6 photographs, 1 custom image box, 2 custom hard cover books, 1 framed fine art print (color or black and white), and 1 wedding day slideshow dvd. For all of these things, we were charged $2000.00. Our checks were cashed a week before our wedding, Alex Souza photographed our wedding, and when we returned from our honeymoon we received our thank you cards. Since then, we have not received a single item for which we contracted and paid $2000.00. We don't even have our digital negatives.

For the last year, my husband and I have been pleading with Alex Souza to deliver our wedding photographs and the remaining items in our contract. We have asked Alex Souza to either complete our order, or provide us with our digital negatives and a check to cover the costs of producing the items for which he was paid but failed to deliver to us.in some emails, Alex Souza has told us he'll complete our order.in other emails, Alex Souza tells us that he'll refund us, but these emails never go beyond being empty promises.

Unfortunately, my husband and I do not live in the same state as Alex Souza. To make matters worse, Alex Souza told us that he closed down this photography business and moved to Miami, but he never gave us his new address.

We have never complained to Alex Souza about the quality of his work. We continue to complain to Alex Souza about his inconsistencies and our incomplete order.
