Online Legal Services Scams America

Shops, Products, Services

A website claiming to be run by an attorney and a staff of paralegals is nothing more than 1 person sucking up money from unwitting americans in need of a divorce or other legal assistance.

He hides behind the internet and refuses to prove legitimacy, being evasive with every question I ask. My advice is DON'T GIVE HIM YOUR MONEY!" Below is a transcript of live chat with this person:

You are now chatting with 'Bruce'

Bruce: Welcome to Docupro.net and our live chat service. We're a complete Divorce Preparation Service for ONLY $167.00. How may I help you?

Me: hello, may i ask who prepares these forms?

Bruce: We do

Me: yes, but who are "we"?

Bruce: I'm am the owner of the business and an attorney. My staff are paralegals

Me: and where would i find information on you to confirm my confidence in this service?

Bruce: We are a typing service that has spent thousands of dollars getting the software for each state to prepare documents. We are a member of the BBB and guarantee our work or your money back If that's not good enough for you I suggest you seek the help of a lawyer

Me: but you said you are a lawyer, so i am seeking help of a lawyer, can you help me?
Bruce: What your question

Me: are u a typing service or an attorney please?

Bruce: I am an attorney that run a divorce preparation service

Me: and are you willing to tell me your name and state license number?

Bruce: For what reason

Me: because there are a lot of scams out there and i'd like to verify your authenticity as i am not very internet saavy

Bruce: Check with the BBB on my website. They will have all the info your will need

Me: have you any reports by any news agencies?

Bruce: Go to xxxxxxxxx.com (unaffiliated company omitted) They have plenty. I do over 150 divorces a day and I don't really have time for you. You either believe me or you don't

Me: that doesn't provide a very good explanation of your authenticity. Just because you do a lot doesn't mean you are not a scam artist. Just means you haven't been caught yet. If you were an attorney why are you hiding your name? I would think you'd be proud to display your name and career experience

Ruce: Your not hiring an attorney your hiring a service. Everything is in the reliability report at the BBB. Why don't you ntry looking bat it

Me: The reason I question you is because I have a friend who paid for your service and was having problems with the questionnaire and rather than correct the issue on your webpage you cussed him out and offered a refund

Bruce: And your purpose is what

Me: To ask why you would not listen to a customer and fix your webpage rather than cussing a customer?

Bruce: Answer me a question please. How come 12,000 customers have successfully had there questionnaires processed properly. Without any problems

Me: But what proof do you have of this? And does that justify cussing those who the page is not working for?

Bruce: Has your friend received there refund

Me: no

Bruce: What's there name

Me: and why are the links to these supposed reports by news agencies dead so that we can not read about what they had to say about your service?

Bruce: What's their name

Me: Since you have no proof of your authenticity and these 12,000 completed questionnaires I will... Report you to the BBB and the News agencies...

Bruce Diamond claims he is an attorney and has a staff of paralegals, but that's not true. Bruce claims he has a staff but then he says "I" prepare 150 divorces a day. Bruce doesn't provide links to prove the claims of the news agencies, courts or BBB have investigated and reported on him.

He only claims this exists. I have found no court that has "software to complete forms" and the url he sent me to is not affiliated with him and they don't understand why he would direct me to their web site to authenticate him.in fact their email response to me is as follows: "We have no affilliation with DocuPro.net, and have no knowledge of their services or employees." This company announces who they are, where they are licensed as attorneys and provide a physical address. Bruce is a very rude one man operation who is evasive with every question to hide the lies and can not guarantee a refund when you can't find him if a refund is not granted. Even the address is a PO box.

If the company is legitimate, fine, but I very seriously doubt it and I wouldn't risk my money with him nor would I pay someone who has ZERO customer service skills and not much html/java skills either. Anyone can create a web page and whip up a snappy legal document with a little english skills, but if Bruce hides behind the internet and makes false claims then it is all too shaky to be legitimate. The risk outweighs any benefit.
