Timeshare Resales Of St Petersburg (Century 21) ripoff, Would not refund fee charged illegally, for appraisal of time share

I listed my timeshare for sale with this company. They sent me a form to get an apprasial of my timeshare property. I sent them the fee of $375.0 as they requested.

This was in 1999, I found out recently thru a large number of time share companies that chargeing a fee and requireing an apprasial on time share property is illegal. I was also told that action against this company is being brought by The Attorney General of the State of florida, for illegally charging customers and requireing an appraisal on time share property. As well as the Department of Consumer Affairs.

A Real Estate company can only require an appraisal on resident homes and business'es. A whole lot of people have been scammed by this company and are takeing action againt them. I wrote them a letter of demand to return my $375.00 and they wrote me back with a form letter, and refused to return my money, stateing that it was not illegal, and that they had dropped my listing at their business.

I have recieved no offers at all since 1999 and when i called them they didn't know who i was? What did i get out of this rip off? Nothing but big lies and loss of income. I am a senior citizen and am liveing on social security, i can not afford to sue them on my low income, and had to struggle to raise the money to send to them. I am waiting to see if i get any results from the Attorney Generals office, as yet nothing! I would not recommend this company to anyone.
