Identity Watchdog
Unauthorized charges to debit card. Rip-off!

In July I noticed an odd charge from a company called Identity Watchdog on my bank statement. I attempted to call the number on the statement several times, and received a recorded message each time. Before I could report it to my bank, another charge was made.

After filing a dispute with Visa for my debit charges, I've continued to attempt to contact Identity Watchdog. None of my calls have been returned, and I've been told by the bank that the only way to stop them is to close the account.

Please be wary of charges you cannot identify. I do not know how this company got my number - another report points to a souvenir sales in Tampa FL. I have no such connection, and cannot identify it.
