Deceptive sing-up tactics

Looking for a roofer I decided to consult Angies List. They tout PayPal, offering a lower rate. Only AFTER agreeing to PayPal do they reveal the true nature of their scam; 1. You MUST agree to "automatic' renewal of your subscription, 2. They WILL sell your private info to others, and 3. They charge you more for "additional" lists (unexplained). By the time they reveal these terms, you learn you are hooked in for the payment even though you decline their "conditions"! I did get a prompt refund after filing a protest with PayPal. Buyer beware!
