Lynda Forget Theft & Illegal entrance

Rented a 2 bedroom apartment unit from a Otto Jeske (Landlord - 519-894-3323) / Lynda Forget (superintendent - 519-744-9063), unit was fairly clean and in a hidden low income area. Landlord and superintendent seemed nice and accomodating.

A few months into the tenancy I started to notice things missing from time to time, first my digital camera went missing... Then a laptop. I started getting concerned as I was the only person who had access to the apt aside from the landlord. After a lot of investigating I had determined that I hadnt lost these items.

I took some advice from and IT friend whom said to install a hidden camera and connect it to the computer, set it to record any motion in the apt whilst I was away at work.

After 2 weeks of having the webcam (secuirty) setup there was a video recorded that contained footage of Lynda Forget entering the apt unit that I was renting (without prior notification of her entry)... As I watched the video closer I noticed Lynda Forget Superintendent of 294 Lorne Ave had picked up a gold chain bracelet I had left on my dresser.

I confronted Lynda about the situation and explained I had video and that I would contact the police to have her charge for break and enter and theft. Lynda then got very defensive and insisted she had done no such thing.

I explained to her she was lucky I wasnt pressing charges as I didnt have time to deal with all the steps involved, so I issued her my notice to end tenancy, and changed the locks on the door for the remainder of the month before moving out.

Anyone looking to rent from Lynda Forget or Otto Jeske (200 Sims Estate Drive) should be weary to have the neccesary security precautions in place and or refrain from renting and go with a reputable Landlord / Superintendant whom value their tanants and the law.
