After 7 years of major health issues, our beloved German Shepherd had to be put down. We are just heartbroken! And Angry! We paid $5000 for a pick of the litter Male GSD who came from a dam who was bred in Germany and imported pregnant. He was to come from top lines including Ursus Vom Batu. At 4 months old it all started... First, seizures that were so bad we were recommended to put him down. After finding a neurologist for dogs (many $ later) she got the seizures under control (meds alone were $400 ea month!)... Then came chronic diarrhea for most of the 7 years... Pancreatic insufficiencies inability to digest proteins properly, thyroid problems, never able to keep his proper weight, fear issues... We never received a refund, partial refund... Nor a suitable replacement dog... She "offered" an older female GSD or a Daschund. But... She never answered our calls or emails after that...

He was a love and was fully devoted to us... That I'm thankful for... To know such unconditional love is irreplaceable! Shame on Melissa Kolbe for breaking so many hearts and producing such sick and unhealthy dogs. Bad Karma is coming your way! I know I'm not the only one out there... Just do a search on her and you will see! Do not buy a dog from her! She is a slick con artist! You will easily be convinced she knows what she's doing and is a reputable breeder... Don't fall for it!
