Special promotion claims to save you money, but is actually a rip-off

I bought a special package deal from La Dolce Vita, from one of those annoying salesmen on the street that insist on asking you questions about your hair.

The man claimed that with this $45 package deal, I could get my hair done, a pedicure, manicure, eyebrow waxing and more. When asked what the catch was and why they would do all that for so cheap. The man replied that it was a way to bring in new clients. The hair salon was willing to take the price cut, because they are confident enough that you will return after your first visit. The only additional fee that you have to pay is a one time fee of $15 the first time you go to La Dolce Vita.

So, I bought the package deal. I scheduled my appointment to have my hair done and when I arrived at the salon, they made me pay the $15 fee immediately. Then the woman at the register said, "Ok, you are all set, someone will be with you shortly." A male hairdresser approached me and said he would be styling my hair today. After seating me in the chair he proceeded to bash the way my hair was colored and cut. Then told me what he was going to do to it. I told him I was up for anything and that I would trust him with what he wanted to do with my hair. So, he colored and cut my hair.

When he was all done, my hair looked great! I was very pleased, until I went to the register to pick up my coupon and the woman told me my bill was $266! I was shocked. I asked why I was being charged when I had this package deal. The response, "Highlighting and coloring are not included in the package." No one ever said coloring wasn't included and the man never asked if it was ok to color my hair. He just did it. I never would have knowingly paid that much to highlight my hair. Their so-called Special promotion package is a complete Rip-off!
